They're available in all three classes with unique abilities, but transformations can be a little iffy on them and not all the new abilities are quite balanced. It's fun using drauven characters and they have some unique benefits and drawbacks over human characters so there is a real difference. i've tried.ĭrauven PCs Beta is totally awesome, if still a little rough around the edges. Oh, and you can't abuse guns with the archery perk. I like giving a rifle to my fighters so they have a ranged option on a turn where they can't get in close. It's a full round.) It's a little wonky with stuff like the throwing axe in the off hand, but otherwise I've never had an issue with the mod. If you give a character a gun then they have a strong but inaccurate ranged attack that takes a full turn to reload (as in, you can't move and reload. it just adds guns as a weapon, which are strong but balanced IMO. Guns of the Yondering Land is another pretty fun mod. It makes me think about how legendary heroes often had special equipment that was featured often in stories involving them, so I think it's appropriate, if a little op. It makes the game a little easier, because your heroes can start with some incredibly powerful equipment when you recruit them, but I think it adds a lot of personality to them if they keep special equipment. I also like Unique Augments over legacy and Legacy Even Augments. The balance is a touch on the difficult side, so be aware of that, but if you've got a few good heroes in the legacy then it shouldn't be a huge problem. To my knowledge it is the only full mod campaign that's been released, and it's a ton of fun. Memories of the Past is another recommendation. With the DLC on the horizon then this mod might be less useful, but until then these two are some of the best mods you can play with the game. They're both simple equipment packs, adding a few new weapons and new types of armor (including unique equipment of both types!) The armor are three tiers, so it's a little stronger than the base ones, but there are clear trade offs between even similar types of armor. Knight's starter pack and Ranger pack from ComRat are so high quality that I almost can't imagine playing without them, they fit seamlessly into the base game and provide so much more build diversity to your hunters and fighters.
